So many organizations! 27 Jun 2018 22:02

Why are there so many organizations in beach volleyball? Which one is best? These are questions I hear a lot, and I'd like to talk a little bit about my organization, (VolleyOC) and the two organizations with which I work. I'll let you draw your own conclusions about some of the other organizations- honestly, if you...

VolleyOC Partnering with Pacific Kitchen! 08 May 2018 18:05

Lots of OC people know SeaLegs on the Beach , a wine bar at the North end of Bolsa Chica State Beach. It's the place to go for great times with friends, concerts, live entertainment, etc. Alicia Whitney runs it, as well as the other concessions at Bolsa. The court is small and the teams are small which means lots of laughter and chatting with teammates and...

The Volleyball Gods 07 Nov 2013 19:48

Ed's take on effort and hard work on the volleyball court: After 20 years playing beach volleyball I have found that there may be some rules we need to follow on the court that are enforced by the supernatural. A pastor friend of mine said that God tends to stay out of volleyball games; I beg to differ. Volleyball Gods...
